Delete Your Data
Last updated: 4 August 2026
You can ask us to delete your Growvo.AI account and personal data at any time. This page explains exactly how to do it, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
1. How to request deletion
Email privacy@growvo.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. Tell us whether you want:
- Your whole account deleted — your profile, your content, and every workspace you solely own.
- Only your connected-channel data deleted — for example the data we received from Facebook — while your Growvo.AI account stays open.
We verify that the request comes from the account holder before we act on it. If you email from a different address we will ask you to confirm from the account address, so that nobody else can delete your data.
You do not need an active subscription to request deletion, and we do not charge for it.
2. If you signed in with Facebook
When you sign in with Facebook we receive only your Facebook user ID, name, email address, and profile picture, and we use them purely to create and authenticate your account. There are two separate steps you can take, and you can do either or both:
Step 1 — Remove Growvo.AI from Facebook
This stops any further data being shared with us. In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select Growvo.AI, and choose Remove.
Step 2 — Ask us to delete what we already hold
Removing the app in Facebook does not by itself erase the copy we hold, so email privacy@growvo.ai as described above and we will delete it.
We never post to your Facebook timeline and we do not read your Facebook content, so there is nothing for us to remove from your Facebook account itself.
3. Disconnecting a publishing channel
If you connected a channel to publish content, you can disconnect it yourself at any time from Workspace Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting immediately revokes and deletes the stored access token for that channel.
Content that has already been published to an external platform lives on that platform, under its own terms — you will need to delete those posts there. We can only delete our own copy.
4. What we delete, and what we must keep
Deleted
- Your name, email address, password hash, and profile picture.
- Identifiers received from Facebook, Google, or any other identity provider.
- Your brands, prompts, generated content, drafts, scheduled posts, and comments.
- Access tokens for every connected channel — revoked, then deleted.
- Uploaded media, including images and video.
- Your sessions and API keys.
Kept, and why
- Invoices and payment records, where tax and accounting law requires us to retain them.
- A minimal audit entry recording that the deletion happened, which is what lets us prove we honoured your request.
- Content inside a shared workspace that you do not solely own — that belongs to the workspace, so we remove your personal data and your membership rather than deleting other people’s work.
5. How long it takes
We acknowledge every request within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days. Backups are rotated on a rolling schedule, so a residual copy may persist in an encrypted backup for a short period after that before it is overwritten. We will email you to confirm once the deletion is complete.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account or its content afterwards, so export anything you want to keep first.
6. Getting a copy of your data first
If you would like a portable copy of your data before it is deleted, ask for it in the same email and we will send you a machine-readable archive. Your rights, including access and portability, are set out in our Privacy Policy.
