They aren’t fonts at all — they’re special Unicode characters that look like styled letters. Because they’re real characters (not formatting), they survive copy-paste into Instagram bios, captions, comments, and almost any other app.

On Instagram, TikTok, X, WhatsApp and most modern apps, yes. A few older devices or fonts may show some styles as boxes. Test the style you like in a comment before committing it to your bio.

Each Unicode style only covers certain characters — most cover a–z, A–Z and sometimes 0–9. Anything a style can’t represent (accented letters, punctuation, emoji) passes through unchanged, so your text never breaks.

Screen readers often read styled characters letter by letter (or skip them), so use them for decoration — a name, a word, a headline — rather than for whole paragraphs of important text.
